If a meta-model is primarily concerned with learning probabilities, non-parametric distributions, or anything else where the multiplication is the primary operation, then the geometric calculi may be of interest. Additionally, I have no doubt that it helped prepare us for the memorable day in 1967 when we were fortunate enough to observe that a simple algebraic identity was actually a clue for creating a new system of differential and integral calculus.
